Rotterdam

World Port city

Rotterdam is truly a world city. It is world-renowned for its modern port, the largest in Europe. In the inner-city harbours where the port activities started developing centuries ago, the bustling waterfront has been transformed into lively entertainment districts. They have become the new face of Rotterdam on the Maas. The Maas river runs through the city centre, crossed by the now-famous Erasmus Bridge which has become the symbol of Rotterdam. The city is also known for the architecture.

The impressive skyline with the highest tower and biggest building in  The Netherlands, the amazing cube houses, the internationally aclaimed Markthal and the newly opened central station turns this city into the

architectural capital of the world.

But that’s not all…

Art is very important for the city. A major exhibition in the Kunsthal, an enthralling concert in De Doelen or that fun little art gallery in Witte de Withstraat: the full scope of arts and culture is an intrinsic part of the city’s allure. The city offers top museums that present exceptional exhibitions, such as the Kunsthal and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, but also boasts numerous smaller galleries.
Rotterdam is alive the whole year with festivals and events related to culture, sport and music.
Besides all this, Rotterdam has a diversity of shopping districts. From exclusive to popular, from megastore to small boutique,

situated in an arcade or a bustling street.

Our vision

We believe Rotterdam is a great up and coming MICE destination. We have the privilege of working in Rotterdam on a regular basis. The city, the people, atmosphere and let’s not forget the affordable hotel rates make this city a great destination.
